We know semaphore timeout is one of the causes of server hang.We got the following semaphore timeouts recorded as "Sem.Timeouts = 1140:130 0931:1". Could you please analyze that.
Also we infrequently observe lock manager error ever since we upgraded to 8.5.2FP2HF361 (platform solaris, memory 4 GB ).Sometime it goes away with the time sometime we need to restart the server. Is there any way out ?
Is there any relation with nsf buffer pool size which is still 750 MB?
